Nancy Heet

Nancy Heet founded Workforce Management Strategies with a commitment to assist organizations in developing, articulating and aligning their human resources strategies to overall business objectives. A strategic, results focused professional, Nancy has more than 25 years of comprehensive experience implementing and leading strategic human resources, Organization Development and Communication initiatives.

Nancy began her career as a business educator and training manager in the financial services industry where she learned firsthand the necessity of linking HR and Training activities to the business objectives of the organization. Nancy moved on to become the Director of Organization Development at BJC Health System, the largest employer in the St. Louis metropolitan area. During her ten-year career with BJC, she was accountable for the design and implementation of all leadership/executive development initiatives, merger integration activities and project management for numerous Human Resources initiatives.

In 1998 Nancy joined Carondelet Health System as Vice President of Organization Development, Human Resources and Communications. At CHS she continued to demonstrate her leadership and creativity by facilitating numerous board and management strategic planning retreats, redirecting the organization's communication processes, improving the performance management system within the organization, and in 2002, directing all HR and communication activities allowing for the successful integration of Carondelet Health System into Ascension Health.

Since 2003 Nancy has been helping organizations shape their human capital management and HR practices so they are aligned to the strategic agenda of the business. Nancy's clients include financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and other service industries.

Nancy's ability to develop trusting relationships with organizational leaders allows her to become a strategic partner with her clients as they, together, build solutions to accomplishing both corporate and operating unit long- and short-range objectives.

A native of St. Louis, MO, Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She has held numerous leadership positions in professional organizations, has taught in Keller University's graduate education program and has served as Program Chairperson and Board Member of the Institute for Management Consultants-St. Louis Chapter. Nancy has earned and maintains her professional certification of SPHR, Senior Professional in Human Resources, since 2003.
